Hello Readers, Viewer and Friends across the universe!
My name is Jordache Wee and I am 23 this year (2010) with a journalism background who is currently working in an advertising industry. I am the author of The World of Midnight (TWoM) on Blogspot and also Blackest Night | Brightest Day where in short everybody knows it as BLNBRD on Tumblr.
I have been in the creative industry most of my life and involved with writings, blogging and marketing and also other elements for several years now. Recently, I have chosen to focus on a new industry which is why I am a copywriter for an advertising agency. It is my first time getting exposed in the advertising industry where I am needed to be extra creative and careful while handling corporate clients and etc.
I feel it is important to get exposed to absolutely anything coming in my way so that I get the experience I need to do something I wanted to do in life. So I am like an artist of words who embraced creativity and clarity in words to grab the audience attention for everyone. It may sounds like PR guy or the propaganda guy but the job is really interesting.
Besides being as a copywriter in title, I am also involved with the social media networks. I am the pillar behind the Facebook Page, Twitter, LinkedIn and many more to name. It is like having a secondary job as a copywriter who is involved with SEO (Search Engine Optimization). They should just give a title called Content Writer or SEO Specialist. That is what I do. So it is a surprise to hear a copywriter who is also an SEO specialist. Apparently, my agency has no idea what is SEO about so I explained.
Graduated from University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Media Management with excellent journalism skills and IT knowledge. So I am both reliable in a way. I had a Diploma in Communication of which my major is journalism so that came handy in copywriting and I have a passion with the Web 2.0 and all IT related from hardware to software that makes me an asset of the agency.
I like anything related to art. I enjoy spending time with friends talking about anything from art, business, networking, communication, movies, music, games, writing, philosophy, dreams, etc.
Therefore, I have written many poems and lots of writings since high school but never participate in any contest because it is not what I do – I shared on my blog. TWoM – a general blog on lots movie reviews and my dark poems. While BLNBRD is more towards my daily posting on what I see and what I do and personal opinion and posting most of the DC Comics reviews and the art from the respective artist.
On BLNBRD, I showcased stuffs for free, whether it is just a review or something you need me to promote at – I will do for free for now. I am trying to garner more readers for BLNBRD.
If you are an artist model, actor, talent or someone who wants to inspire others, bring something new to the table and explore what it is to be human, an artist, a muse and a inspiration to others, then I want to work with you. This is what I do on BLNBRD.
The most important thing as a writer/blogger is networking. They connect all the dots which allows me to build professional relationships and friendships as people will then aware of your work and existence. People will tend to show appreciation on what you do but sometimes when times are rough – we as human being have flaws too.
Christopher Reeve had made everyone believe that a man can fly and based on his quotes - I believe I can achieve my dreams in this life.
“So many of our DREAMS
at first seem IMPOSSIBLE.
Then they seem improbably.
And then, we summon the WILL,
They soon became INEVITABLE.” - Christopher Reeve
